Multiple OS in VPS Hosting
In case you select one of our virtual private server packages, you will have three different Operating Systems to choose from - CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu. They're all Linux releases and we offer them rather than offering just one OS, since the apps that you may wish to run on the server may have specific requirements about the software environment. Each of the three has some pros in terms of the available plans that you can afterwards install, but what is common between them is the fact that they are very secure and reliable and have vast communities that support them. The web hosting Control Panel options for the VPS accounts depend on your OS choice, in order to give you more flexibility. In case you order the virtual server with one OS and you need a different one later, our technical support team can easily reinstall the VPS with the new one in a couple of minutes. We also offer you the option to keep the Operating System on your server up-to-date weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Web Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server plans - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They are all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are absolutely free so they will not increase the cost of your new web hosting server, but also because they are outstandingly secure and stable. Each of them is supported by a big community of web developers, so you'll be given the option to choose from a myriad of software packages that you may install on your server in case the app that you want to work with has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use as the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with specific OSs only and since we would like to provide you with as much versatility as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. If you get a server with a given OS, we can change it upon request in the event that it turns out that you will need a different one. We will also keep your OS updated weekly as part of our useful Managed Services upgrade.
